This painter and Spanish graphic artist was born on April 23, 1926 in Madrid, and died on May 26, 1996. Gerardo Rueda was educated in the French Lyceum of his hometown. It began with studies of classic painting and in 1949 it exhibited for the first time in the Spanish capital.
At the beginning of the 50s it presented his first collages and abstract drawings. It realized his first individual exhibitions in 1958, in Barcelona, in the Galleries Garden and the green gallery of Ángel Marsá. Since then it took part in more than 200 collective exhibitions, being one of the most excellent the “Sample of Art Nuevo-MAN 64”, in X Lounge of May of Barcelona, where in 1966 the Award obtained Brothers Serra.
