This way 8 years of exhibition were celebrated in Siloes.

2. The exhibition of Elizabeth Peyton in New York, the young and international contemporary artist that more we like, both in the pictorial language and in the subject-matter that it tackles.

3. The exhibition Machines and Souls of the Museum Queen Sophia, who assembled for the first time in this space, to the creators of the contemporary art and the new technologies, beginning a big way for the institutional legitimization of the average art, net art, digital art and vídeoarte.

4. The retrospective of Juan Muñoz in the Guggenheim Bilbao, which there assembled big part of the work of this so valued Spanish artist.

5. The exhibition Works Graph 10 The Country in the gallery Marlborough, with works in artist's engraving as Eduardo Arroyo, José Manuel Broto, Rafael Canogar, Martín Chirino, Juan Genovés, Luis Gordillo, Cristina Iglesias, Antonio López García, Jaume Plensa and Manolo Valdés.

Silencis, 24 artists in 25 exhibitions is the title of the big sample - homage that the Monastery of Siloes exhausts the Spanish contemporary artists who have happened for his rooms.

Work of Antoni Tàpies, 1981

As part of the period 2008 – 2009, let's treat the advance of the collective big one that will assemble the best Spanish contemporary artists in the Monastery Santo Domingo of Siloes.

The proposal of the collective one is to assemble each of 24 artists who have exhibited in the abbey throughout these eight years. Work of all one will be able to see the disciplines and styles, with artists of the size of Barceló, Block, Lucio Muñoz Looked, Valdés, between others.

On October 2 the division of Madrid of Christie's celebrates his 5 years of life in the country with an auction that promises to mark milestones in the Spanish art. The lot covers with stars The Cat is Rosa de Hermenegildo Anglada Camarasa, whose estimation is placed between the 1,5 to 2 million euros.

Yellow inn of Heart

The head office of Madrid of the gallery Marlboruogh celebrates the period with the collective exhibition Summer Show. This sample assembles pieces in painting and sculpture of the artists' fistful of the gallery.

The opening is June 26 and the works will be able turn until September 6, with the exception of August that will be closed. The collective one from the best Spanish contemporary art to plenary meeting not to get lost.

On May 30 a homage will be celebrated in the Lounge of Plenary meetings of the Assembly of Madrid to the Spanish artist Lucio Muñoz, owing to the tenth anniversary of his death.

The appointment will take as a meeting point the last work of Muñoz, The unfinished city, the most beautiful mural that is in the Assembly of Madrid.

Let's remember that May 24 was the date of decease of Lucio Muñoz, after being a victim of the cancer. The homage will celebrate at 7 p.m. hs in Square of the Assembly of Madrid 1 and in the participará the Band of the Community of Madrid, with a sense I agree for one of the most important painters of Madrid of last century.

Lucio Muñoz – Graphic Work is the title of the retrospective of the Spanish artist in the gallery Malrborough. The appointment is April 17 in the head office of Madrid of the gallery.

The graphic work of Muñoz assembles the exhibition between the 80s and 90s. This selection of the work realizes of this artist like one of the biggest representatives of the Spanish abstraction of last century.

For the criticism, the work of Muñoz is both an expression of the Spanish art and a significant opening in the international panorama of his time. Also the use of the wood as support and reason of his work, it re-updates the engraving and the graph.
