Between sleep it is the name of this monumental head, which on a shoes battery, serves as homage for the artists foreign visitors. The work belongs to the Spanish artist Jaume Plensa and I believe that he sums up in an exquisite metaphor the problematic ones that cross our time: famine, illness and insomnia. The piece is located in the stand of The Country of the fair of ARCH 2008. What more to say to them? Clear example of the quality and exploration of the real contemporary art, for which there does not look the extraordinariedad of the matter or the concept, but a concrete remark between form and content to question the world that surrounds us.
