Biography of Cristino de Vera, Spanish painter

Cristino de Vera was born in 1931, in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. In 1946 it initiated his artistic formation in the School of Arts and crafts of his hometown, where it took Mariano de Cossío as a teacher, who made him know the postcubism and the poetry of the generation of 27.

In 1951, at the age of 20, he decided to go away to study Madrid, where it frequented the workshop of Vázquez Díaz. It completed his education in the School of Fine arts of San Fernando and in the Circle of Fine arts. At the age of 22 he decided to begin of zero, and to take for your own intuition.
