The Art gallery Downtown Madrid is provided with a new activity that will bring to us the best artists and his works of painting of the most diverse styles and skills like oil, watercolors, enamel, cake, monotype, work on role, between others.

The next exhibitions will be presented until the 18th of this month and they will be provided with the works of Enrique Donoso, teacher of the School of Art of Olías of the King in Toledo, Jose Gabriel Climent, artistic painter of basically self-educated formation and Miracles Perez-Chirinos, lover of the painting for ages, studied diverse workshops with different painting skills given by several painters.

Gonzalo Gómez de la Serna

In the next 10th, the Gallery Marlborough of Madrid inaugurates the first individual exhibition of the pictorial work of Manuel Franquelo. The artistaçnació in Malaga in the year 1953 and at the age of 19 it moved to Madrid to study drawing and painting. In 1977 it entered the Higher institute of learning of Fine arts in Madrid and it was employed like teacher of drawing and pictorial procedures at the Academy He suffers also in Madrid.

His first contract was signed in 1981 with the Gallery Heller, Madrid and it was the entry door for the reception of several awards like National Award of Dibujo/Antonio of the Corner, National Award of Painting / Biennial of Autumn, Award Penagos of Drawing, Award of Painting Eusebio Sempere.

The Italians Lisa Borgiani and Massimo Nidini reinvented the way of doing art joining the inspirations of each one to create the only works. This species of collaboration and artistic complicity brings to us two traditionally put up forms of expression: the photo and the painting that here walk together in perfect harmony.

The work of the couple is quite interesting and I confess that for me it is an innovation, as soon as Borgiani photographs all and any image that is capable of personifying a city or a movement that is capable of expressing intentions more than words, Massimo finishes the work with his painter's touches, highlighting one or another part especially, doing art of the nicest and sincere form.

The Three Thank you, 1997

Pitxot is the title of the exhibition of the work of artist Antoni Pitxot that you will be able to visit in the Space for the Art of Social Work Box Madrid in Saragossa until next October 4.

What will we be able to see? The sample consists of a selection of works of the artist and the current director of the Theater - museum Dalí, with 31 pictures in which the Cadaqués scenery is the thematic center of his work.

Our young favorite Spanish artist, Amaya Bozal, has been rewarded in July with the golden Medal in LXX Exhibition of Plastic Arts of Valdepeñas by his work sculptural Set, in the category sculpture.

Sculptural set consists of three heads, two in bronze with different patinas and one of mud retractario, placed on wooden beams of the XIXth century treated for his conservation.

Self-portrait

Francisco Iturrino was born in Santander on September 10, 1864, being a son of of Miguel Iturrino-farero - and of Joaquina González. At the age of three his family moved to Castro-Urdiales and in 1872 one changed of definitive form Bilbao.

There, at the age of 15 it received classes of drawing in an academy and on the part of his uncle, Elviro González, painter and poet. Once the graduate ended, in 1883, he settled in Liège (Belgium) to study engineering. But it left the studies, without his father finding out, to begin his artistic career.

In 1890 it moved to Brussels and studied painting with Lorrand. Two years later he decided to devote himself of exclusive form to the painting.

The Virgin with the child is the title of the picture of Bartolomé Estaban Murillo, Spanish artist, that was rescued of his doubtful identity and of the negligence in a Belgian municipal museum, Municipal Museum Wuyts-Van Campen and Baron Caroly in Lier, after which an investigator of the Spanish art realizes an inventory of the Spanish works in Belgium.

The Virgin with the child is a picture it was between the funds of this museum and one believed that it was a false Murillo and after the investigation in the file of Eduardo Lamas Delgado, who works for the Real Institute of the Artistic Patrimony of Belgium.
